We are dedicated to creating a welcoming and safe space for all participants. Please be mindful of your words and actions. By entering the space you agree to the following:
I will ask before I take photos of people.
I will respect the wishes of people who do not want to be photographed or appear in photos.
I will be an active listener.
I will remain respectful.
I will not harass anyone.
If I am in a conflict with someone, I will attempt to resolve the conflict peacefully.
- I will not use homophobic, sexist, racist, ableist, or classist language.
The following behaviors will not be tolerated and can lead to expulsion from the event:
Verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination [related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion].
Sexual images in public spaces
Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following
Harassing photography or recording
Sustained disruption of talks or other events
Inappropriate physical contact
Unwelcome sexual attention
Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior
